Day 17 Start With Love

Start With Love                                  Don’t complicate things. Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”  What can we possibly do or say to show our love and appreciation. The answer is found in John 14:15 “if you love me, keep my commandments”. I find that often times people complicate things way too much. We spend countless hours contemplating how to make progress in our lives. Yet many of us have closed ourselves off to the simplest concept of faith and love.   When we are lovers and doers we began to see things shift. The complexity is created in our minds. This challenge has been about training and   shaping the mind but nothing can substitute being in tune with God. Some things you have to know and hold on to. Keeping these principals in ou...

Day 16 Fighting the unbelief

Fighting the unbelief Day 13 was spent on reflecting on the days past and for my private group we focused on guided meditation and channeling our energy on the vision. It was an awesome two days. There are a couple of  people who asked about unbelief. Let's examine it together. I like to ask people who express some unbelief whether verbally or through their actions this question. What do you believe? We spend a lifetime fueling unbelief. Mark 9:24 " help my unbelief". God is not interested in the magnitude of your belief. He is looking for even the smallest traces of evidence of it. Matthew 17:20 If you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can say to a mountain move and it will move. When I ask what do you believe in, I'm really asking what have you placed your faith in. Is it your spouse, your children, your job, your friends, or your church. Before you hurry and answer no let me define faith. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary  faith is an allegiance ...

Day 8 The Mind of a Warrior

The Mind of a Warrior Part 1          Day 7 was your day of rest. Today  I want to dispel some things that come against us believing that we are warriors. 1) you’ve been told your too small, your too young, too old, too small, not educated enough etc. There seems to be this measure that we always appear to fall short of. The devil is a liar!!! The measure is in the hands of the almighty!!! He has called you for your vision, purpose, business, ministry, etc.... Does he not qualify the called (Romans 8:30) ? So how is it you can fall short of what he created you for? 2) your fears- A warrior is to be fearless in most contexts. When we think of a warrior we think of bravery, courage, and war. We don’t associate fear with a warrior. Yet God chose Gideon. He was not absent of fear he asked for constant reassurance see Judges 7. Gideon placed faith in front of his fears. When we place faith in front of our fears that is what propels us into battle. To fight wh...
